Desc: Janani: Directed by Ajit Ganguly. With Sulochana Chatterjee, Kali Bannerjee, Satya Banerjee, Tarun Kumar Chatterjee. A widow struggles to bring up her two sons and daughter. The sons in order to marry their sister take dowry them selves and bring home their wives and thus starts a rift between the brothers as the wives cannot adjust to their family. A series of events follow as the film melodramatically closes with a reunion of the family. The cast includes Jaya Bhaduri, Tarun Kumar, Sulata Chowdhury, Lili Chakravartty, Kali Banerjee etc.
